A stately Greek Revival country home, renovated with care to upscale finishes and restored original details and charm.
The four bedroom, three and a half bath house includes a modern kitchen, separate dining room, fireplace in the living room as well as several outdoor areas to enjoy the sights, sounds and scenery of the peaceful and bucolic grounds.
The High Falls Brick House is located on a ten acre country property—minutes from Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve and the Mohonk Mountain House—together with a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Carriage House (message for info on booking the larger home additionally or separately).

Transit:
As the property is located in the country and a car is helpful. During the winter months, we strongly advise traveling with a vehicle with four wheel or all wheel drive. Trailways buses drop off in Rosendale (15 min taxi ride). There are local car services, including Uber, available, allow extra time for driver to arrive as compared to NYC. Feel free to ask us for local taxi service information.
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
The Brick House is located on a ten acre country property along with with a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Carriage House. The property is situated near the village of High Falls, and it’s minutes from the Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park as well as numerous hiking trails and carriage roads open to the public on the Shawangunk Ridge.
The world famous Trapps rock climbing area is also in the neighborhood! It is an easy 90 minute drive from New York City via the George Washington Bridge.
Less than four miles from the door you will find everything from spectacular, walkable scenery, charming country lanes and villages, wine stores, pharmacy, antique shops, numerous restaurants, a privately run grocery store (High Falls Food Co-Op), a health food store, post office, and a gas station. Live music and bars can be found on weekends in High Falls and New Paltz. And let’s not forget the farm stands and swimming holes and Lake Minnewaska!
