Barnfox Cycle Club (BFCC) Event No. 2!  

Our second BFCC is coming up this Sunday, June 21st, and this time we’ll be starting in Claverack. Barnfox Member Steve and Jennifer Shiffman  has very kindly offered for us to meet at their residence with complimentary post ride drinks and nibbles. This ride will is beginner to intermediate friendly with some hills and a steady pace.

What to expect:

• A 17-mile route that has us setting out from Claverack (10 minutes outside of Hudson). 
• A beginner to intermediate pace. “A little further, a little faster” — we heard you! We’ll up the pace, a little bit, for this second ride. It’ll be zippy, but not crazy. Whereas the first ride was relatively flat, this one will likely include a couple hills.
• How-to prepare: Have a meal and plenty of water before heading over. And bring some with you as well. A bit of sugar will help you get over any of those Claverack and Ghent hills. Bring a spare tube! We’re currently 1-for-1 on getting flats during our BFCC group rides.
• Post Ride Drinks & Nibbles: Steve has characteristically gone above and beyond by offering some post-ride drinks and nibbles. Feel free to bring something, but he insists that there is zero pressure to do so.

This event is limited to 10 riders, first come first serve.
