North Branch Inn marries casual elegance with fresh laidback style and some good ole fashioned fun. The historic details take you back to a place where time mattered less; the modern amenities, high end toiletries and linens make you wish time once again stood still. Spend your visit with us enjoying the preserved Americana feel of North Branch and its neighboring towns. Plan your days around picnics in our courtyard or fireside in our Library and Parlor rooms, scenic drives, lounging by the creek, making your way through a nearby hiking area, cocktails in the outdoor pavilion and gardens or sipping on some hot cocoa snuggled up with your favorite book!

The Bar Room & Restaurant at the North Branch Inn offers a menu with simple ingredients and simple food in a comfortable environment. Grab a seat indoors and in our bowling alley.

We get our product mostly from people we know personally. Our small open kitchen is in our 100+ year old bowling alley and our deliveries from neighboring farms come through the front door.

ACTIVITIES

On Property – with 7 acres of rolling fields, sunken pools & gardens, there is plenty to do right on property to slow down and disconnect.

  • Take a stroll through our meadows and gardens.

  • Grab a picnic lunch and dine fireside in one of our common areas or out in the meadows.

  • Sit by one of the streams on property and dip your feet in the water.

  • Sun yourself – and doze off – in the meadows.

  • Wind down the day with some good old fashion s’mores and hot cocoa after dinner.

  • Make yourself at home in any of our cozy common spaces with a good book, fireside.

A Short Drive Away – just minutes away are farms, breweries, river towns and our sibling properties offering music, events and more.

  • Hike to the top of a mountain and then climb the fire tower to get above the tree line and see forever. Check out some of favorite hiking trails in the area: Red Hill Fire Tower, Russell Brook Falls, Tusten Mountain Trail and Jensen’s Ledges.

  • Enjoy a scenic drive through winding country roads, streams and the rivers that abound.

  • Practice self care and book a treatment at Hemlock Spa at Kenoza Hall, the newest Catskills experience by Foster Supply Hospitality.

  • Visit Buck Brook Alpaca Farm and take a selfie with an Alpaca and stock up on some beautiful fiber goods from their farmstore.
